The Custom Brad Zinker Flarehawk LLF is a premium Gentleman’s Tactical liner lock flipper with hand made, precision fit and finish and high performance materials. This version of the Flarehawk comes with a Compound Ground, Hawkbill blade made from acid stonewashed CPM-154, matching titanium liners/clip and Copper Snakeskin FatCarbon scales with tumbled Zirconium bolsters.

Blade: Made from high performance, American CPM-154 Stainless Steel, the blade of the Flarehawk is a beefy, tactical powerhouse. Compound ground for enhanced tip strength, the Hawkbill profile has a high hollow grind for exceptional slicing performance while the tip area has a shallow hollow saber grind for powerful piercing. Finished with an acid etched and stonewashed finish the blade has a rugged and discreet look that will hide wear from use over time. A ball bearing pivot system delivers fast, smooth deployment via the jimped flipper tab while a swedged spine and short section of jimping deliver the final touches on this custom piece.

Handle: Comfortable and ergonomic while retaining a slim profile for carry, the teardrop shaped handle starts with two solid titanium liners for the base supporting tumbled Zirconium bolsters dovetailed to stunning Copper Snakeskin FatCarbon scales. Zirc bolsters lend a solid heft and balance in the hand while a triple barrel spacer supported open back construction deliver a rock solid construction that is easy to maintain. Liners are finished with a matching acid stonewashed finish with an integral liner lock mechanism for reliable and secure lockup and ease operation.

CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
