Enrique Peña Custom Rhino V2 Titanium Frame Lock Flipper

The Custom Rhino V2 Flipper is a collaboration between designer Jared Van Otterloo and custom maker Enrique Peña. This is a beefy, tactical frame lock flipper with a design that is elegant enough for every day carry while being capable of serious use. The Rhino V2 is executed with Peña’s renowned fit, finish and attention to detail. This version comes with a hand rubbed satin finished CPM-154 blade, hole-milled titanium construction and milled Mokuti pocket clip.

Blade: The Rhino V2 offers over 3 inches of hair-popping cutting edge on the harpoon-style drop point blade made from American CPM-154. The harpoon swedge delivers a powerful piercing point while the hollow saber grind offers a balance of durability and razor-like slicing performance. The blade profile and grind provides performance in both martial and utility applications. Jimping on the spine offers added traction and a perfect thumb placement. A generous flipper tab and dialed-in detent deliver decisive deployment on the caged bearing pivot. The hand-rubbed horizontal satin finish gives this piece a beautiful and truly custom look.

Handle: Two beefy, contoured titanium scales have a grey bead-blast finish with polished chamfer milled holes front and back for weight reduction and traction. The scales are ergonomically designed and contoured for comfort and a secure grip. The frame lockup is perfect, early and rock solid. Disengagement is easily performed one-handed. The knife construction is completed with satin finished titanium hardware, blue anodized pivot collar ring and matching anodized titanium partial backspacer.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up milled Mokuti pocket clip. Includes Peña embroidered black nylon zipper pouch for carry and storage.

CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
