Blade: Delivered in a rugged, wear-hiding stonewashed finish, the stainless steel cleaver style blade has a full flat grind providing excellent slicing performance balanced with durability with a forward tip for piecing. The deep index finger choil delivers enhanced control for fine cutting tasks as well as a secure grip for spine leverage during heavier work. A stainless bearing pivot allows for fast, smooth, one-hand deployment via the index flipper with no grip adjustment thanks to the Gerber Pinch Plate.

Handle: Made from anodized aluminum supported by a stainless steel liner, the front scale is sleek and handsome for daily carry allowing for smooth draw from the pocket. Dual barrel spacers create an easy to maintain, open back construction while reducing the overall weight. For smooth operation and reliable lockup the back is a robust, all stainless steel frame lock with a gray PVD coating matching the liner. Pulling duty as an over travel prevention and lock stabilizer, the Pinch Plate also prevents unintended pressure on the lock bar for worry free deployment.
