Blade: The three and a half inch Harpoon Spanto (Spear Tanto) blade opens fast and smooth via the integral flipper or dual thumb studs/blade stops. The American CPM-20CV blade delivers premium performance in edge retention and corrosion resistance with moderate toughness and good sharpening response. The blasted and tumbled Working Finish is non-reflective and hides wear from use. Rick’s Tri-Way pivot system creates silky smooth operation with your choice of bearings (installed) or nylon or bronze washers. The detent is dialed in for decisive flipper deployment.

Handle: Full titanium frame lock and liner have a matching Battle Bronze finish that hides wear well, retaining a rugged visual appeal over time. Satin Hardware and standoffs create one solid package while a 3D textured G10 scale coupled with strategically placed jimping provides a solid grip. A blade choil allows for a more forward grip for controlled work. Additional features include the Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer, titanium clip insert and customizable modular design.

Carries via a reversible, right hand only, titanium pocket clip.

Tri-Way Pivot: An innovative design from Hinderer, the Tri-Way pivot has milled pockets in the blade and frame allowing for the use of ball bearing pivot washers (installed). Utilizing steel spacers to fill those pockets, you can also use nylon or bronze washers (included) to customize the action.

CPM 20CV: CPM 20CV is a highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, an analog to Bohler’s M390, and offers some of the best corrosion resistance and wear resistance in combination with a relative ease of sharpening. These properties along with a working hardness in the low 60s HRC make 20CV a prime choice among custom and production makers.
