The popular USA Made 1812 Dividend assisted flipper from Kershaw Knives is back with style in the new Composite blade variation. Inspired by the World War II-era Curtiss P-40 Warhawk fighter plane, this version comes with a CPM-D2/N690 composite blade that mimics the tiger or shark mouth often painted on the nose of the P-40 as well as an Olive Green handle with milled contours and grooves. This knife is sure to become a favorite for everyday carry thanks to a perfect combination of style and performance.

Blade: A modified drop point profile blade is made from Composite CPM-D2 and Bohler N690 delivering style and performance in equal measure. The CPM-D2 cutting edge offers excellent edge retention and slicing performance thanks to the full flat grind while a top swedge enhances piercing and control in fine work. Stonewashed to hide wear from use the dual steel composition give the knife a two-tone look with a copper highlight between the two. SpeedSafe assist technology provides fast and reliable deployment via the ambidextrous index flipper tab.

Handle: Olive Green anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle scales attached to full length stainless liners for lightweight, reliable durability. Milled grooves on the handle enhance traction and aesthetic appeal while the clean and ergonomic lines of the handle design remain unchanged. The stainless steel liner lock is simple, robust and easy to operate. Construction is completed with black Torx hardware and a generous lanyar hole.

Carries via a 4-position, deep carry stainless steel pocket clip.

CPM D2: Standard ingot D2 has been used since WW II and is a semi-stainless tool steel with good corrosion resistance and edge retention. CPM D2 is cleaner, with a more refined grain structure and better strength compared to ordinary D2.

Bohler N690: N690 is a high quality stainless steel with performance similar to Japanese VG-10 with high level corrosion resistance, good edge retention and ease of sharpening.
