The Front Flipper Dogleg Jack is a perfect example, offering his custom design in a premium production platform. This version comes with a satin finished, M390 blade, titanium bolsters and liners and green canvas Micarta handle scales.

Blade: Following the pattern of a classic serpentine or ‘dogleg’ jack this knife has a stout recurve Spey blade with modern front flipper deployment. Premium Bohler M390 stainless steel comes with a fine satin finish, high hollow grind, and razor sharp edge. Riding on the ceramic bearing pivot and hardened stainless steel washers, the blade deploys fast and smooth.

Handle: The serpentine handle offers a classic, ergonomic style with modern titanium liners and integral bolsters for a timeless look. Contoured canvas Micarta scales are comfortable and secure, while the liner lock with hardened steel lock face provides smooth, reliable operation for safe use.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high carbide content for some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance, while being relatively easy to sharpen. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives. Relatively high carbide volume and coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
