With a clean, classic look and precision construction the QSP Hawk makes a great daily carry choice. A drop point blade offers functional utility riding on bearings for speed while a tried and true liner lock construction and subtly contoured scales create a comfortable and solid platform for daily use. This version comes with a satin finished, Sandvik 14c28n stainless steel blade and blue canvas Micarta scales.
Brand new, direct from QSP Knives.
Blade:Â A classic drop point blade rides fast and smooth on a ball bearing pivot with thumb studs or index flipper delivering one-hand operation. The high saber grind and relatively thin stock deliver excellent slicing performance with solid durability and a robust tip for piercing. A fine satin finish and chamfered edges on the spine give the blade a classy look while the subtle jimped thumb ramp provides added traction and security.
Handle:Â Skeletonized stainless steel liners support rugged Micarta handle scales that offer traction while being subtly contoured for comfort. The liner ride proud to the scales for a more contoured feel while a jimped liner lock offers ease of operation and secure lockup for safe use. The flipper acts as an index guard when open for added safety. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.
Carries via a right hand, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry clip.
Sandvik 14c28n:Â Sandvik 14C28N is the latest development in Sandvik’s range of knife steels. Optimized chemistry provides a top grade knife steel with a unique combination of excellent edge performance, high hardness and good corrosion resistance.
