Blade:Â Index flipper deployment on ceramic bearings gives fast and ambidextrous one hand access to the spear point M390 blade. Blending strength and performance, the blade has a high saber grind and long spine swedge in machine satin and hand rubbed flats for a classy two-tone look.
Handle:Â Internally milled for weight reduction the dual titanium slabs have heavily contoured chamfers for a full and comfortable grip and plenty of style. A partial back spacer delivers ideal balance and added traction with jimping echoed on the blade thumb ramp and flipper tab. A dark storm green anodized finish rounds out this striking piece.
Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high carbide content for some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance, while being relatively easy to sharpen. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives. Relatively high carbide volume and coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
