Steel Will Apostate Mini Satin S35VN Black G10 Titanium Frame Lock Flipper 1150

After the success of the large Apostate from Steel Will is was not a question of “if” but “when” a mini version would be produced. This scaled down version is more EDC-friendly while retaining the same robust construction and style of the original: a predatory, tactical, titanium frame lock flipper. This version comes with a satin finished CPM-S35VN blade, black G10 front scale and tumbled titanium frame lock.

Blade: The beefy 4mm thick CPM S35VN blade rides on a ceramic ball bearing pivot for fast, smooth flipper deployment. A high height saber grind leaves plenty of thickness at the spine for durability while still offering good slicing performance. The clip point swedge delivers a solid point for piercing and fine work. A subtle jimped thumb ramp offers traction in the hand and the satin finished blade delivers looks and performance in equal measure.

Handle: The front of the handle is a simple, chamfered black G10 for traction in hand. Both the G10 and titanium frame lock sides are internally milled, offering a sub-5 oz. weight while delivering secure and reliable lock up. A hardened steel insert gives the lock smooth operation and double as an over-travel stop. A titanium partial backspacer gives the knife good balance, is jimped for added traction and end in an exposed lanyard attachment hole.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up stainless steel pocket clip.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
