The Blade: This satin slicer commands attention with its harpoon-swedged spear point styled blade and outstanding grinds. A high flat grind to a shaving sharp edge with three slanted grooves in the flats on both sides. Almost 3.75 inches to work with and nearly .75 inches of expertly machined jimping on the spine for a comfy thumb ramp. Ambidextrous flipper deployment on the 617 with spot-on detent for absolutely no-wrist action necessary opening. It rides on its pivot smoothly via ceramic ball bearings. 

The Handle: Comfortably contoured Tan G10 handle scales with light texturing left on the flats just melts into your palm. The grip should feel right at home in most medium to large hands. Two black inset liners provide strength and one of them provides the solid, early lockup. Plenty of nice matte grey blasted titanium to accent this handle. The screws, pivot cap, backspacer and pocket clip are all wonderfully placed 6Al-4V titanium.
